Quest’s End Whiskey introduces an enchanting element and a dash of fame to the world of spirits. The journey began when Blue Run Spirits sought our expertise. The objective? To collaboratively craft distinctive neck and main labels, for the Paladin expression, that not only captivate but also contribute to the premiumisation and expansion of the brand. Recognising the significance of their target launch date, we flexibly manoeuvred our production schedule, ensuring the timely delivery of exceptional designs.
Two Doctors Whiskey is an innovative premium whiskey brand, that stands out for its commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation. Two Doctors and their creative agency – SingleDouble approached us to provide a unique proposition that brought the original design to life, perfectly conveying the unique story of this brand and allowing it to stand out in a competitive marketplace. Combining contrasting print and extensive embossing techniques, the final solution embodies the unique story behind the hand-made craft whiskey, creating a unique bottle design – exactly what the doctor ordered.
Fun, nostalgic energy and golf…three main drivers that push Bushwood Spirits to produce and distribute their award-winning range of bourbon whiskey and vodka to national retail chains to specialty liquor stores, high-end restaurants, clubs and sports bars, golf resorts and private clubs around the world. Tasked with creating a small, elaborate embellishment to adorn their crystal golf ball stopper, we were able to precisely engineer a highly intricate, and beautifully crafted, charm that further accentuates the Bushwood message. Drawing the eye towards the decorative bottle using a debossed silhouette of the brand logo, alongside accurate typography, their new diecast charm embellishment was the perfect addition to tee the brand up for further growth in upcoming years.
The Copeland Distillery, situated on Ireland’s East Coast, is a craft producer of a range of Irish Gin, Rum, Single Malt and Pot Still Whiskey. A rich history and heritage, the Copeland Islands (a historic trading post for smugglers bringing whiskey into County Down from Scotland) provide ample inspiration for the small batch, premium Copeland Spirits.
Charged with embodying this nautical heritage to adorn their characteristic black bottle, we were able to create a beautifully intricate and highly ornamental die cast coin to sit within the bottle neck. Accurately replicating the maritime compass themed logo of the Copeland brand within a debossed die cast coin gives the brand a sophisticated and premium feel that truly communicates Copeland’s commitment to taste, innovation, heritage, and community.
Glengoyne are committed to quality whiskey in the same way as they are committed to keeping their environmental impact to an almost unbeatable low, eliminating the use of plastic, metal, and magnet from their packaging, hence they choose Signet as a partner to meet their challenging brief. Final result: Glengoyne’s iconic logo with its sand-clock encased shield engraved on a wooden badge. Its design reflects the age of the whiskey and its premium look kept it where it belongs: amongst the fined of the aged sherry casks.
A Scottish family-run business that’s been satisfying the most elite of whiskey connoisseurs for 120 years. Signet, presented with a brief to develop a subtle yet refined label, with luxury presence for the Gordon MacPhail Private Collection range, we worked collaboratively with the design agency Contagious. Our Marque product was chosen without debate, offering exactly what the brief required, a stunning tactile metal label with the ability of changing the details of the strength, year distilled, and distillery name, as every single cask is unique.
The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur is the first and only super premium honey liqueur produced in Ireland, offering an alternative for traditional whiskey drinkers, and a mild introduction to the spirit for new consumers. Seeking a standout look for their one of a kind product, Wild Geese approached Signet to create a large, faux wax seal for the front of the bottle. A custom die was created featuring the brand’s signature honeybee marque and slogan in relief, which was further highlighted with black print. The reverse of the seal was curved to fit the face of the bottle and the whole piece was designed to sit perfectly inside a shaped location area.
Established in 2015, Dublin’s Teeling Distillery is the first new whiskey distillery to open in the city for 125 years – but the family behind the business has a long whiskey-making tradition. To emphasise the company’s heritage, Teeling opted for vintage style branding based on the hand-painted signage of yesteryear, and approached Signet for help to create a dual purpose neck wrap for two of it’s limited edition bottlings. We came up with a beautiful antique bronze self-adhesive Marque label with gold foiled accents and a shaped, perforated tab that adheres across the edge of the bottle stopper, creating a tamper evident security seal.
Seeking a smart, functional solution for a stunning limited-edition boxed whiskey in their 24-year-old ‘Revival’ series, Teeling once again turned to the team at Signet for help to create something befitting of their deluxe product. Since the bottle already featured a metal stopper with a distinctive grooved edge, we knew we could build on this in the design. We created a highly effective and innovative tamper seal by looping a waxed cotton cord around this groove, and then securing in place with an o-ring and a printed neck wrap made from our Marque flexible aluminium label range. The ensemble was finished off with a die-cast silver charm featuring the Teeling logo, which is used as a pull to break the seal with the cord. Simple yet stunning!
For a much-anticipated release of their 16-year barrel aged whiskey, Tyrconnell sought a really distinctive look for their bottle. Signet devised a series of embellishments including a heavyweight hangtag suspended from a plaited leather cord, and a copper foot plaque. An extensive sampling process was undertaken in order to achieve a perfect match between the leather cord, the tag and the green label on the bottle. The tag itself was fitted with a metal eyelet and featured both printing and copper foil, which was picked up in the die cast foot plaque, which was made from rigid metal and had to be pre-formed to fit the curve of the bottle.
Created by Gortinore Distillery, Natterjack Whiskey was inspired by a fusion of Irish and American distilling and blending techniques and also by Ireland’s only native toad – the Natterjack, which walks while all others are hopping! With the toad at the centre of its branding, Gortinore sought to really bring the character of their product alive on the bottle. Our Marque aluminium label fitted the bill perfectly, enabling the label to be embossed and high level printed to give the toad a really authentic ‘warty’ feel!
Jameson approached Signet in search of an embellishment that would set its limited edition Black Barrel whiskey apart from other products in the range. The black barrel itself proved to be the ideal inspiration for a die cast metal hangtag, textured to give it the appearance of wood. The tag also featured a short marketing slogan giving a raised appearance to the lettering. The entire tag was sprayed black and the lettering was finished in the natural zinc finish. The tag is hung from the bottle neck using an elastic cord for simple application.
