We’ve all heard the word Brexit – after all, it’s everywhere. Often accompanied by a string of negative words, Brexit is the result of the 2016 referendum, cementing the fact that Britain will be leaving the European Union – with the move expected to happen on the 29th of March 2019.

Shrouded in so much uncertainty, the Brexit process is still unclear – particularly around what deal, if any, the UK will reach with the EU. Until the withdrawal agreement is finalised, there are several options that need to be considered.

As a result, we have created an internal Brexit team, designed to monitor, assess and evaluate the current Brexit situation, as well as any changes that may arise in the not so distant future.

The benefits of ordering before Brexit

With all of this uncertainty, we are awaiting more specific information to gauge whether our lead times to create products or our prices will be affected by the potential changes to the British trade. As such, we recommend and encourage our clients with repeat orders that fall within March and April to place these orders as soon as possible. You can do this by contacting Bethan Hughes for your repeat ordering needs.

This is in order to prevent, or at best minimise, potentially avoidable delays, and to ensure that your existing pricing agreements are secure. For those who are not repeating order clients, we still encourage you to place your orders with plenty of time to avoid any potential delays.
