Revived by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012, Teeling Whiskey has played a pivotal role in the resurgence of the Irish whiskey market. With bold, innovative bottle designs and a fearless approach to tradition, they’ve given whiskey lovers even more reasons to raise a glass.
Discover how the Teeling brothers transformed Irish whiskey from a fading relic into a global powerhouse. Listen to Jack’s episode on our podcast, Signet Unpackaged, to hear about their inspiring journey.
When Teeling and their agency, Brand Hatch Creative, approached us with their 40-year-old single malt—an exceptionally rare release with only 140 bottles—we knew the packaging had to reflect its significance. This wasn’t just about housing the whiskey; it was about realising a design that would embody its rarity and appeal to collectors who value every detail.
An adhesive that could withstand the demands of travel and longevity was crucial to the creation of these embellishments. Equally important was the fit of the zamac neck collar, precisely engineered, using visualisation and 3D renders, to follow the bottle’s exact contours, delivering the Perfect Fit.
The result was a striking composition—featuring a cold-to-touch charm, cartouche, neck collar, and Marque™ footer label. Together, this set of embellishments works harmoniously to convey a sense of grandeur and refinement, perfectly complementing the ultra-premium whiskey within.
