In light of the current situation, it’s pretty hard to believe that just two months ago a team from Signet was in sunny California at the 2020 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, held at CalExpo in Sacramento.

As the largest wine and grape industry show of its kind in the western hemisphere, the event offered some insights on how markets, production and technology will shape the coming year.  With many of the world’s leading vineyards located in the US, this was a fascinating opportunity for Signet to meet and chat with many potential new clients as well as catching up with existing ones! With current circumstances, we’re invested in maintaining our relationships with all clients, including those that may have met us for the first time at an exhibition.

As you’ll know if you saw us at Luxury Packaging in London last autumn, Signet’s trade show presence was dominated by our bar area which offers clients an opportunity to view our products in a ‘real world’ setting.  The bar provided a natural place for visitors to gather, mingle and exchange ideas, with our team including Ian, Roger, Amos and Harriet on hand to offer plenty of expert guidance. As well as seeing the products in situ, we provided sample packs for attendees to take away. We are always developing new and innovative ideas, which extends to the events we attend and the showcases we hold at our clients’ premises. We believe the experience of our stands and showcases should evolve and we always provide something new for our clients and stand visitors.

If you haven’t been able to visit one of our exhibition stands and would like us to arrange a showcase at your premises (after restrictions are lifted), get in touch with us.

At the Sacramento Wine & Grape Symposium, our directors Ian and Roger Lyon manned the Signet stand throughout the two-day show and were extremely busy throughout, answering questions and introducing people to Signet’s product portfolio.

The main feature of our exhibit was the Marque flexible label range, which was officially launched in London back in September and we were excited to be taking it to the US for the first time.  Marque’s flexibility, versatility and deluxe aesthetics make it an ideal choice for vintners seeking to elevate their bottles to another level and we received a lot of positive feedback during the show – watch this space for future projects!

Our next planned trade show event will be the LUXE PACK expo in Monaco, where we will be joined by creative packaging manufacturers from around the world at the Grimaldi Forum from September 28-30.  As things stand this event looks set to go ahead, and we’ll keep you posted with any updates as they arise. We are looking forward to seeing current clients and meeting new people face to face at the event.
