The bells are jingling louder than ever for this Christmas after spring and summer in lockdown and Tis the Season to be Merry rings truer than ever.  Luxury goods makers, in particular the alcohol world, are vying for shelf highlights. Previous winners were Jack Daniels with their ‘Winter Jack’ branded Christmas jumper enticing the snow with its flaky knit, and Patron’s Tequilla, presented in a clear bottle featuring an art deco silver band, hand applied for that personal touch.

Our Rock Rose Christmas bottle sweater went the extra mile. Not only woven of the distinctive pale blue branding with black and white knitted detailing hugging its glorious owner to a T, it featured a pair of sweater arms too…not just so that when the drink is long past a fragrant memory, a happy child could even sport their doll in the iconic design, but giving it a real, personable feel like a heart-warming friend. It is a fantastic upgrade and seasonal feature for the bottle, which can keep its original design underneath, saving our clients’ budgets from unnecessary hiking after pandemic-struck blues.

For Sipsmith, it was the excitement of the traditional stocking that got us hooked. They wanted a beautiful branded sock that buyers could personalise for their gifts – choosing the selection of miniatures they enclosed to suit the lucky receiver’s discerning palate. The sock took their familiar shade of wintry spruce green in a velvety feel, whilst the folded over top showed off the intricately detailed printed interior lining with a ribbon border and tagged in golden Sipsmith traditional lettering. The perfect presentation package for the discerning gin sages.

But the options don’t stop there, they are limited only to the creators’ imaginations. The secret is getting into the shoppers’ mindset and sharing enough of the story to have them wanting to savour it all. A good Scotch could be presented in a tweedy pouch emblazoned with the horns of highland cattle, or gin boxed in an oak casket and flouting a luxurious pair of brand icon cocktail stirrers that get the saliva flowing. Had you thought about creating a wax snowstorm on the bottle, or hiring one of Santa’s reindeer to jangle from the bottle top? Or maybe a festive hat with its knitted neckscarf counterpart would be more in tune with your brand? Make your Marque with riveting metal applique creating an embossed relief effect to show off your seasonal special edition, like Lucid Absinthe’s bottled version, ‘Superieure’ by name and nature.
